The Verdict

“Stylish setting and excellent service, but the food and wine list don’t quite live up to the hype.”

🖋️ My Take

Everyone talks about this restaurant, so I came in with high expectations. The space is beautifully designed, and the chef’s talent is clear — the dishes were good, but nothing that really stood out or felt memorable.

The biggest letdown was the wine list by the glass. Many of the good options were already sold out, leaving an odd gap between around 100 dirhams and then jumping straight to 2,000–3,000 dirhams, with nothing reasonably in between. That imbalance made the experience feel less polished than it should have been.

On the positive side, the service was excellent. Attentive, professional, and warm — the staff really made up for the shortcomings and ensured the evening was still enjoyable.

Overall, Lena feels like a place with strong potential, but the dining experience didn’t quite justify the buzz.

💡Tip

Go for cocktails or order a bottle of wine instead of relying on the by-the-glass list — it’ll give you a better experience.
